Some things that cannot be seen in an anomaly scan include the head, which is a developing organ, and the cerebrum and cerebellum, which are essential structures in the brain. The size of the head may become smaller during the 7th, 8th, or 9th month, or the baby may be absolutely normal in the 5th month and have fluid in the head after the 7th or 8th month.
