This story is based on real testimonies from North Korean defectors

On a freezing winter night,
a father and his young daughter clung to the underside of a moving freight train—
risking everything for a chance at freedom.

Only 12 inches (30cm) separated them from the wheels.
A single cough or sound could have ended their lives.
For two hours, they hung beneath the train in total silence
as it crossed the border.

Told from the perspective of K,
a former intelligence officer who investigated North Korean escape routes,
this documentary-style reconstruction captures
the danger, fear, and courage behind one of the rarest escape methods ever attempted.
