Presented October 16, 2025.

The Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability (LEAD) conference is an annual event presented by the Kennedy Center focused on building knowledge and networks for cultural workers. Representatives from the Collab and across Illinois will share highlights from their focus areas and lead a live discussion with our arts and culture accessibility community. Come for the best practice takeaways and bring your questions about LEAD!

Event Speakers:

Craig McNabb is a Chicago-based writer, director, and arts administrator who serves as the Audience & Access Services Manager at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance. He oversees a large front-of-house team and leads initiatives to make the theater’s programs more accessible and inclusive. Beyond his work at the Harris, Craig is an active creator in Chicago’s comedy and music scenes, developing original shows, workshops, and collaborative arts projects. He is passionate about leadership, community building, and the power of the arts to connect people.

Chile (chee-leh, like the country) Ochoa is a weaver, builder, caregiver, and storyteller. These roles are rooted in the identities they hold close — being K’iche’ Maya, disabled, queer, trans, and non-binary — as well as their professional experiences in social work, education, and film. Chile is a passionate builder of sustainable systems rooted in care, collective input, and mutual aid. They trust these values can help nurture spaces and structures that not only support communities today but also lay the groundwork for ongoing growth, healing, and empowerment—especially for future disabled filmmakers.

As a practicing artist, Chile uses performance and avant-garde theatre to capture candid, awkward, and meaningful life experiences. Their work has included visual and multimedia projects exhibited across the West Coast, as well as curated film programs for the Seattle Queer Film Festival, Festival of (In)Appropriation, and Black Cinema Collective. They’ve also nurtured the growth of independent filmmakers at Sundance Institute by leading their public programs, and most recently, at Full Spectrum Features, where Chile rebuilt their 18-month film fellowship program, Community Storytellers.

Diamond Warren-Tucker (she/her) is the Program Manager of Joel Hall Dancers & Center and a freelance dancer. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with her B.A. in Dance. Diamond aims to work with groups that are underserved in the arts landscape and strives to bridge gaps within her community. A great connector, Diamond enjoys teaching and working with younger members of the neighborhood through dance. She works day and night to fulfill her purpose as a teacher, dancer, and human. An eternal student, she aims to take her leadership and creative passions across globe.

Bill Green is the Hart Prins Fund Accessibility & Inclusion Manager at Lincoln Park Zoo. He uses his experience from working in the disability community to foster accessibility and inclusion in all environments where people engage with the zoo. Personal experience also informs Bill’s work. Since birth, he has been low vision. He has also been a lifelong enthusiast of zoos and museums and the diverse ways people interact with these spaces. Bill has consulted with many cultural institutions in Chicago, including serving as an inaugural member on The Second City’s Accessibility Board.
