How Testing Software will need to change in an AI-driven World

As the use of Generative AI as a tool proliferates, the amount of code that will need tests will dramatically increase, and the quality of that code will go down. Generative AIs like Devin or ChatGPT won't be able to replace Software Engineers. They will however, both make us more productive and make more work for us.
The best book I know on Software testing is "Working Effectively with Legacy Code"
by Michael Feathers (https://www.informit.com/store/workin.... Unfortunately, it was written in 2005, and the techniques that were best practices then just aren't going to cut it in a world writing code at an AI-driven pace.
