The second episode in an online semester course on basic woodturning. In this class we want you to start successfully making a mess. So there are two main sections. One where we cover the most basic set of "accessory/ancillary" tools you'll need with your lathe in order to do all the niches of the craft. If you plan on initially specializing you can cut down on required purchases/acquisitions. The second where we make two items: a honey dipper and a mallet. In the exercise we dive deep into proper tool setup, sharpening and use while exploring the difference between theory and reality.
