This week, I’m walking through a classic jazz standard that I love, Beautiful Love. This song is another great way to work through jazz harmony, as it mostly stays based around a single tonality and uses standard ii-V movement. I go through a wide range of approaches here, from a two feel up to rhythmically active lines. As usual, I’m playing the line on Double Bass here, but this is a great one to play on Bass Guitar too!
