These three bags are easy to make, even for a brave beginner. I have used similar details from one bag to the other, making the bags easier to sew once you get the hang of a few details. THIS IS THE VIDEO FOR THE TOTE BAG. It is large enough to carry your laptop computer and other stuff you need to keep safe and secure. It has a recessed zipper closure so nobody can stick their hand in it when you’re standing in line somewhere. It features decorative metal strap connectors from sallietomato.com, but the pattern comes with strap connectors you can make yourself. There is a zipper pocket on the back of the tote bag, and another on the inside, together with two slip pockets. The handles are long enough to carry the bag on your shoulders and you can make them with an accent decor strap if you like. There are rivets on the straps, and the pattern comes with a tassel as well, so you can clip one to the bag for decoration.
