Do you need school to become a visual effects artist?? The short answer is, it depends. While many people are hands on learners, many benefit from classroom type settings. It all depends on the type of learner you are and what works for you. There are a ton of online resources that you can start learning from right now. All you need is some motivation and a little bit of persistence to get through the frustrating parts!
