Noted authour and freethinker Ravichandran C here talks about default settings and leanings of human brain which enables him to form belief in supernatural things and ideas. This talk was conducted at Cohin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) Human beings, in the long run history, had acquired many neural adaptations which were naturally selected to cope with external challenges and perform data analysis. Religious faith is one of the side effects of many such mental default processing which aided us in the history of evolution of our species. Ravichandran also answers questions from the audience in the end.
