Hello. Another day, another Doom-base! This one's called Phobos1, constructed by James Jordan.
Doing a fair bit of voluntary Tysoning in vanilla-mode for a change!

• Visually quite simple and with not much detailing done for the rooms.
At least it's not horrible or anything, and it's mostly decently clean, except for some misalignments.
Despite the map size being on the medium-scale and there being a number of different types and sizes of rooms,
the choice of texturing has generally matched quite well between each room (with just few exceptions).
• Difficulty isn't too bad for a '94 era wad. We're talking 280 monsters here and it's a decent distribution between Doom 1 rank of demons.
There are some traps here and there, but the sewer section is the most interesting encounter-wise.
• Health & Armor-balance is okay, as it doesn't shower you with supplies, but there's still definitely more than you'll need.
• Ammunition, however, goes a bit out of balance for being too plentiful.
If it doesn't do that by the 1st half, it'll be like that towards the 2nd half at latest.
• Majority of the secrets are very easy to find, but the last secret would've been much more difficult, if it weren't for the automap.

Issues:
• Spot or two with sectors, that make items and other sprites disappear. (Like at 2nd secret with Backpack)
• General texture misalignments and few walls with sudden different, unmatching texture of choice.
• Behind the Yellow Door, you can escape from left-side poison pool, but you can't do that from the right-side poison pool.
• While this is very minor, there's a point of no-return, when you've entered the exit room.
Even, when you've finished with the encounter.

At the end, it's a medium-sized map with ok-level polish, but almost no special details on it.
Gameplay-wise it has few more interesting encounters and good amount of action, so it's still a decent play.
