If you’re hoping for an FPV drone, you will likely be disappointed. The A1 is considerably more expensive than a typical FPV setup, lacks acro mode, and doesn’t currently support a traditional stick controller for precise piloting. It’s slow, has higher latency, and—like most camera drones—simply isn’t built to crash.

However, as an unconventional 360° camera drone, the A1 is genuinely impressive. You don’t need perfect framing; just fly it and the 360° camera captures everything around you. Reframing in post removes much of the stress from filming, and because you can export multiple angles from a single shot, one flight can produce content equivalent to several traditional drone passes. Image quality isn’t class-leading compared to top action cameras, but it’s absolutely good enough for social media content.

I can see the A1 becoming a powerful tool for content creators, travel vloggers, and solo filmmakers because it unlocks creative possibilities you simply cannot achieve with conventional drones.
