中國琴會會長 李祥霆 余派名劇《珠簾寨》Guqin Maestro LI Xiangting – YU School Peking Opera “Zhulianzhai”

此曲攝製於1976年，當時錄製了一百多首古詩詞、傳統劇目、以及根據京劇唱腔編配的、對民族音樂發展具有深遠影響的民族器樂獨奏曲。以余叔岩《珠簾寨》為藍本的古琴曲是一個創舉，亦是此類現代宮廷音樂中的精品。

李祥霆（1940年—）滿族，吉林遼源人，祖籍遼寧岫巖縣。17歲時到北京師從查阜西學習古琴。1958年考入天津音樂學院，後才轉入中央音樂學院，師從吳景略。1974年，和龔一、吳文光、項斯華一同參與琴瑟箏改革小組。曾任中央音樂學院民樂系教授，劍橋大學客座教授，現任中國琴會名譽會長，中國古琴研究會會長。
尤繼舜（1947–）京胡伴奏，上海京劇團《智取威虎山》劇組琴師
李慕良（1918–2010）唱腔教習，曾為京劇巨擘言菊朋、馬連良琴師，並為馬連良、譚富英、裘盛戎、張君秋、趙燕俠等設計了《趙氏孤兒》《秦香蓮》 《白蛇傳》等許多經典唱腔 。
傅定遠（1933–）演奏教習，曾先後於中南軍區歌舞團、武漢歌舞劇院、廣州軍區戰士歌舞團任雷琴演奏家
余叔岩（1890–1942）9歲學藝、13歲登台，師承譚鑫培，養祖父和養父都是京劇表演藝術家。曾與楊小樓、梅蘭芳鼎足而三，被稱為「三大賢」，與言菊花朋、高慶奎、馬連良並稱「前四大須生」。他的京劇聲腔藝術影響很大，世稱余派。學生包括楊寶忠、譚富英、李少春、孟小冬等。

嘩啦啦打罷了頭通鼓，關二爺提刀跨雕鞍；

嘩啦啦打罷了三通鼓，蔡陽的人頭落在馬前。
一來是老兒命該喪，二來弟兄得團圓。
賢弟休回長安轉，就在這沙陀過幾年，落得個清閒。

This piece was filmed in 1976. At that time, more than one hundred works were recorded, including ancient poems, traditional operatic repertory, and newly arranged instrumental solos based on Peking Opera vocal styles—works that had a profound influence on the development of Chinese national music.The guqin piece modeled on Yu Shuyan’s Zhulianzai is one of the finest examples of this genre of modern court-style music.

• Fu Dingyuan (1933– )Performance instructor; worked successively as a thunder qin (leiqin) player with the Central-South Military Region Song and Dance Troupe, the Wuhan Song and Dance Theatre, and the Guangzhou Military Region Soldiers’ Song and Dance Troupe.
• Yu Shuyan (1890–1942)Began training at age 9 and debuted at 13. Disciple of Tan Xinpei. Both his adoptive grandfather and adoptive father were Peking Opera artists.He was regarded as one of the “Three Worthies,” alongside Yang Xiaolou and Mei Lanfang, and was grouped with Yan Jupeng, Gao Qingkui, and Ma Lianliang as the “Four Great Bearded-Role Performers of the Earlier Generation.”His vocal artistry exerted tremendous influence and became known as the “Yu School.”His students included Yang Baozhong, Tan Fuying, Li Shaochun, Meng Xiaodong, and others.

[Xipi Daoban] In former days there were three worthy heroes;
[Yuanban] Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei swore brotherhood in the Peach Garden.
Though once separated in Xuzhou, they met again in Gucheng and were reunited.
Second Brother Guan, astride his horse, called out to Third Brother;
Zhang Yide stood furious atop the city tower, hair bristling.
Now in the distance he hears—
[Liushui]—men shouting: Cai Yang’s soldiers have arrived at the outskirts of the old city.
From the tower he beats three rounds on the war drum to aid you;
Ten rows of flags rise in solemn grandeur.
Crash—after the first round of the drum, Lord Guan grasps his blade and mounts his steed.
Crash—after the second round,His spirit lifted, his horse eager and strong.
Crash—after the third round, Cai Yang’s head falls before the horse’s hooves.
First, it was Cai’s fate to perish; Second, it allowed the brothers to be reunited.
