When I finished my Woodland Witch hat, I knew her wardrobe wasn’t complete. She needed something just as grand. That idea led me to create this DIY moth cloak, inspired by the beautiful emperor moth. Felt, fabric paint, a bit of fur, and a lot of patience came together to form a cloak that looks like moth wings wearable, warm, and maybe a little enchanted.
In this video, I’ll take you through the whole process of how I made it from sketching and patterning, to sewing, painting, and finally adding the finishing touches. Whether you’re looking for DIY costume ideas, cosplay inspiration, or a unique moth wing cloak tutorial, you’ll find tips and techniques to bring a little magic into your own project.
