Turkish Airlines 🇹🇷 Airbus A330 | Madrid - Istanbul ✈

I'm super excited to be back after a long time of not uploading videos. I've missed sharing my travel experiences with you, and I can't wait for you to join me on this new adventure.

Welcome back! Join me on a Turkish Airlines flight from Madrid to Istanbul on an Airbus A330-300. Now let's dive into the experience on this fantastic journey!

Boarding began with the distribution of a hygiene kit, which included replacement masks, hand sanitizer, and antiseptic wipes. Although this video was filmed still during those awful COVID times, the onboard service was absolutely excellent, way better than any other European airline these days.

Back at our seat, the legroom was sufficient, and the seat itself was quite comfortable with several features including a generous cradle recline, lumbar support, a cup holder, a folding tray table, power and USB sockets, and an adjustable headrest. A pillow and a pair of headsets (basic yet functional) were also provided upon boarding. The seat pocket design was also convenient, with two smaller pockets perfect for holding smaller devices like mobile phones.

The in-flight entertainment (IFE) system was impressive, offering a fantastic selection of music, movies, and TV shows on demand. The HD touchscreen was responsive and easy to navigate, making it a joy to use. Of course, the best part of the IFE was the airshow display section and the outside cameras!

Meal service began shortly after takeoff. Lunch consisted of a Starter (Mediterranean salad); a Main Course (Two choices were offered, and I went with the Herbed grilled chicken fillet with sautéed ratatouille and potato mousseline); and a Dessert (Mango mousse). A warm bread roll and a choice of beverages, including soft drinks and alcoholic drinks like beer and wine were offered too. The meal was delicious, and the rest of the flight was quite chill. I managed to nap and watch the first part of a movie as we flew east over Italy & the Balkans.

As we approached Istanbul, an unexpected turn of events occurred. Due to a sudden wind change, we had to perform a go-around during the final approach. We then circled for a few minutes before attempting a second approach from the south. Despite the surprise, the landing was smooth.
