August 2023 Update: if you have trouble creating or running a snippet, you may have to dock developer tools on the right. When my developer tools window is floating in a separate window, it no longer works. To change docking options, click the 3 vertical dots ⋮ button at the top right.
The draw.io offline application can be very handy. Especially if you have multiple monitors (vscode doesn't support that yet). This video shows how to easily use the StateSmith plugin with the offline application.
