Hey boho babes! I know that summer is still a few weeks away, but since the Southern California weather has been nice and sunny lately, I wanted to share a few modern bohemian outfits that I’ll be wearing once the 2016 summer season is here. That means one piece swimsuits with circle sunglasses, breezy lace coverups, and flowy maxi dresses with barefoot sandals for me. When I first started making YouTube videos, my personal fashion style was definitely more 90’s grunge with a street style edge since I lived in a city at the time (Dallas, Texas). Now that I’ve been living in the Orange County - Los Angeles area for a little over six months, I’ve embraced a more laid-back bohemian sense of style. I always thought that boho outfits were a bit too frumpy and complicated for my taste, but I think I’ve found a comfortable medium of boho chic meets classic comfort. Also, I know I haven’t done a lookbook in a long while, but I really hope you enjoy this bohemian-inspired lookbook for some 2016 summer outfit ideas. Enjoy!! xx Audrie

A little bit about me - I'm a content creator on Instagram, YouTube, and on my blog at AudrieStorme.com living in Orange County, California (originally from the San Francisco Bay Area). I started posting outfit of the day (OOTD) photos on Instagram about two years ago when I was living in Dallas, Texas for work. I loved taking photos and posting on Instagram so much that I decided to expand and try out YouTube and blogging as well.

When I was living in the city, my personal style was a bit more streetwear 90's grunge, but now that I live in Southern California and closer to the ocean, my style has become a lot more cozy and comfortable with a lot of bohemian influences.

If I had to describe my fashion sense on my blog, Instagram aesthetic, and YouTube editing style now, I'd probably describe it as modern bohemian with an edge since I tend to wear and do things that might be considered unconventional to others. I'm not sure if that is true, but since I've moved back to California, I just find that I gravitate to what is easiest and effortless for me while living near the beach where it always feels like summer.
