The resident was drowning in his books. A clear case of ‘things’ overwhelming a person. We report on our thoughts on the resulting lonely d**th.

A one room flat in the city of Osaka.
A man in his late 50s was found here many days after he had d**d.
At first glance, his home looked like a hoarded property.
However, what we found here was mostly books and very little rubbish.
These books were piled right up to the ceiling like Tetris, leaving very little room for the resident to live. He was ultimately forced into a tiny space by the front door. His collection of old books, which started out as a small hobby, eventually took over his entire living space.

People being overwhelmed by their hoarded belongings and experiencing a severely deteriorating mental state as a result is becoming common.

Our hope is that this video will encourage people to think more deeply about the tragic lonely d**th situation facing our society today.

Every individual person’s awareness and following actions could change someone’s life forever.
