This isn't a tough bass line, this was the first Eagles song to feature Timothy B. Schmit on bass, he describes himself as a 'meat & potatoes' bass player and this pretty much is that, just straight blues bass.
The song itself is a trifle low for me but I do what I can, my excuse is I'm still learning to play and sing at the same time so I do what I can, hope you like it and Merry Christmas in advance!

This was originally written and released by Charles Brown (not that one!) Don Henley (drums/lead vocals), Glenn Frey (piano, backing vocals), Joe Walsh (guitar, backing vocals), Schmit (bass/backing vocals), and Don Felder (lead guitar). Originally released as a vinyl 7-inch single it reached #18 on the Billboard charts!
