WM ex-ESI MRU Heil Rear Loader Tipping Custom 80s Dumpsters + Bonus!

Here's WM truck 313041, and ex-EnviroSolutions unit, working through some slow-paced Saturday commercial in Arlington. This is one of the slower trucks they have, and the sketchiness of those brown custom-made rear load containers made for a bit of a slow video, so I did cut out a fair share of the packing each time he tipped a dumpster. Those brown cans were originally front load containers back in the 1970s, when this HOA was built and first began service with WM (back then likely WMX). They used an older system where the truck would somehow connect to the front of the dumpster instead of using traditional forks/pockets. This system was soon phased out, and instead of getting new front load or rear load containers, the HOA decided to cut up and custom-weld the old bins into new oddly shaped ones. These use a very unsafe system of loose truss bars that are inserted into each side of the can, so it can fit the dumpster hooks on the truck. This leads to a very loose connection that makes the bins prone to slipping out of the hooks. Despite this, the HOA simply refuses to buy new containers, as they want to keep the storage shelters they currently have, and new bins won't fit them.
