Rayman Origins (1080i HD) Walkthrough Part 35 - Swimming with Stars - Electoons & Lum Medal

In this video, I show you how to obtain all the Electoons (except the time trial reward) and the Lum Medal for the "Swimming with Stars" level of "The Sea of Serendipity".

Time for this level already, eh? This one's a bit of an oddity. On one hand, I really like this level since every music track featured in it is a favorite of mine. On the other hand, it involves darkness, creepy enemies, and haunting music (very reminiscent of stuff you'd hear in Rayman 2, by the way) that stands in stark contrast to the generally whimsical and cheery atmosphere of the majority of the game. That's all fine and dandy for me, but it marks the point where Origins clearly isn't family-friendly anymore.

Though I really like this level, I'm annoyed by the alcove at 3:42 as I think it's a very weak point in the level's design. That section is brightly lit and features happy music, which does not mesh well with the dark atmosphere that the majority of the rest of the level maintains.

I'm not exactly sure if the jellyfish in the second alcove (7:28) actively follows you in an attempt to injure you, but it sure seems like it does.

So even though I accidentally missed the Skull Coin at 5:16 when I recorded this, I still managed to exceed the Lum requirement by a fair amount. That means that this level has a margin of error of at least 50 Lums, so don't fret if you miss a couple of Lums while trying to go for the Medal.
