Rescuers Pull Gasket Out Of Seal's Face

The OCN seal rescue team spotted a seal struggling with a tight entanglement around its face, which turned out to be a rubber gasket cutting deep into its skin. They acted quickly and moved in to capture the animal. With their trusted Leatherman Raptor Rescue tool, they easily cut through the tough rubber and removed the gasket from its face. Despite the severity of the wound, the seal was back on its flippers and disappeared into the ocean where it belongs. Another life saved, but the daily fight against ocean pollution continues!
