The "Urban Terrorists" Automata Mechanism

This video is a tour of the operating mechanisims involved in the automata piece "Urban Terrorists" featuring two raccoons, Boris and Ursula dining in a local galvanized garbage can. The video of the completed piece can also be found on YouTube. The mechanism causes each to turn their heads, move their eyes, open their mouths, waggle their tongues and move their arms and wag their tails. a Geneva mechanism drives a mouse hiding in the trash can to pop up occaisionaly.
