Leviathan was intended to be part of Colin Baker's first season in 1985 and though fully scripted it was not put into production because of the budget required to realise it. Witten by the very successful and prolific Brian Finch (Coronation Street, All Creatures Great and Small, Public Eye, The Gentle Touch, Goodnight Mr Tom among many others) the scripts were unearthed by his son the writer Paul Finch and adapted by him for Big Finish's Doctor Who Lost Stories Range. Truly a lost classic of the tv series that (literally) hits the ground running the audio play has been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra, BBC Sounds and is available from Big Finish.
