I have never heard this version on You Tube, so I decided to upload it to see if anyone has any background regarding this version. This version was purchased at least 15 years ago from Wide Angle Records.
Update: I e-mailed Paul Robb from Information Society and he was nice enough to provide some insight into this version of Running. Here is the e-mail I received from Paul:
This version is the slightly embarrassing first take that Wide Angle put out momentarily before we all came to our senses and realized how bad the vocals were! We pulled the record out of stores, and re-recorded the vocals with a slightly more singable, yet less comprehensible chorus. I would concur that it is "very rare".
