Dharma Samsthapanarthaya Sambhavami Yuge Yuge...from age to age, the Lord incarnates to reestablish Dharma in the heart of man. In doing so, He makes every heard a Dharmakshetra, where Divinity reigns supreme. But the Sathya Sai Avatar is unique as not only did He create this Dharmakshetra within each of us, He gifted all of us with an external Dharmakshetra as well! This gem among shrines in Andheri, Mumbai, has been a lighthouse, directing each one along the path of Dharma. Inaugurated way back on May 12, 1968, Dharmakshetra has been blessed to be the launching pad for some of the most landmark moments of the Sathya Sai Avatar, including the First World Conference of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organizations in 1968. This video shows glimpses of Swami's visits to Mumbai and Dharmakshetra in the late 1960s, just around the time of the inception of Dharmakshetra. It is truly a feast for the eyes to see our Lord looking so dynamic, so charismatic, and so filled with bubbly cheer as He conducts the mission for which He descended on this earth! We see Swami granting darshan to the masses, spending time with Balvikas children and blessing an industrial training camp, and much more. May Dharmakshetra continue to shine as a beacon of light and inspiration for all of us!
