Dahiyat Prince Hassan is a popular area in the center of Amman, and it belongs to the Marka District/ Basman District. It is surrounded by several other suburbs such as Al-Istiqlal and Al-Aqsa suburbs, as well as Tabarbour, Jabal Al-Nuzha, Arjan and Al-Madina Al-Riyadhya. Several government schools were built in it, the oldest of which is Dahiyat Prince Hassan School. Its houses and residential building are relatively modern, and at the end of it there are many independent houses and villas. There are a number of large government departments such as the Civil Service Bureau, the General Ifta Department, and the Capital Police Region Command, and it is also inhabited by many expatriates. The suburb of Prince Hassan overlooks Prince Hamzah Hospital, as well as Prince Hassan Park.
