How to Paint a Calla Lily with Watercolor - Tutorial

Welcome to my new watercolor painting tutorial. Let's paint some flowers!
I picked this pink calla lily as it is so elegant and simple to paint.
There are two types of painting for me - something difficult and complex or something simple and relaxing. This flower is definitely the second case, it's so easy to paint.
This tutorial is beginner-friendly and takes less than 30 min to paint.

For this painting, I used the following materials:
Watercolor paper 100% cotton grain fin 300 gsm/140 lbs by Baohong
Round Brushes: #4 by Escoda Reserva and #0 by Pebeo
Watercolors:
Quinacridone Rose by Van Gogh
Ruby by White Nights
Payne's Grey
Hooker's Green Light
Azomethine Green Yellow
Permanent Sap Green by Jackson's
Yellow Ochre
Optional - Ultramarine

If you don't have a pretty cold pink color like quinacridone rose you can add some ultramarine to your red color. As for the green you can use mixes of Ultramarine and Yellow in different proportions, or Yellow and Payne's grey.
