So, to sum up the averages on the charts I found across the web:
🔸️For children's scarves (ages 4-5), width can be from 3"-4.5" and 36"-40" long
🔸️Children (ages 6-10), the width can range from 4.5" - 5.5" wide and 40"-60" long
🔸️Teens and adults (ages 13+), the width can range from 6"-8", [or even up to 12" for an extra wide scarf] in width, and anywhere from 40" (short) to 120" (extra long) for the length.
Keep in mind that the length and width preferences will be different for people, but I do think this is a good starting place when making scarves for someone you can't measure or compare the project length/width to in person.
📈 The charts I shared in the video are from oombakadesigncrochet.com and desertblossomcrafts.com and crochetdreamz.com
🧶🧶🧶 Also... so sorry for glitching on the double crochet stitches! 🤦♀️ Here is a quick 2 minute video on how to do the double crochet stitch in case you need it.

🧣Last thing! I did make a video for the scarf I pulled out of my closet at the beginning of the video and here it is, if you want to check it out.
