Fabric bookmark corners 📚 - easy step-by-step tutorial

Materials needed to sew a fabric bookmark corner:
3x 4.5" cotton squares
2x 4" squares of iron interfacing (medium weight is ideal, but I only had heavy which just made it a bit stiffer. Use what you have 😊). One of the squares to be cut into 2x triangles.
quilter's ruler - I have a handy 4.5" square, but you can use any size and use the lines to mark out the squares
if you don't have a rotary cutter and cutting mat, just use fabric scissors
either matching or contrasting sewing thread (for the more confident sewist)

These bookmark corners are so cute and make handy little stocking fillers for book lovers of any age which you can make ahead and tuck away for birthdays, Christmas and other occasions..
