Today on Arizona Horizon, we welcome CD 3 candidates for a debate. Yassamin Ansari (D) and Jeff Zink (R) will present their views on key issues in the race.
Congressional District 3 encompasses parts of Phoenix, and historically has leaned Democratic. The seat was left vacant when U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego decided to seek the U.S. Senate seat.
Yassamin Ansari is a Phoenix City Councilwoman for District 7 and was the Former Phoenix Vice Mayor.
Jeff Zink is a minister and a former employee of Grand Canyon University. He attended the Jan. 6 rally at the Capitol.
