RAT's rules to skyrocket your MMR. These tips and tricks are geared towards players who are stuck in the MMR range of about 0-1500. I played a lot of games against players that were between ~1000 and 1400 MMR, watched some replays also and analyzed what they did wrong. Here are some simplified rules that you can follow to not go into a bad rabbit hole. This mechabellum guide 2024 is very relevant even on recent patches although it's an older video.
In the rules, round 4 comes up often as a transition point to midgame. I regard this point to be more in round 5, but I'm scared of recommending that to every other player. It's much safer to start playing a little bit of tempo in round 4 than greeding all the way to round 5.
