This was a long day trip that started and ended in Tatranská Lomnica — more hours on the road than at the destination itself.
I didn’t have time to walk around the castle grounds, but I explored the inside instead: climbing staircases, wandering through rooms, and getting lost in the layers of history inside Orava Castle.
Along the way, I share why Orava Castle is often called a movie star — a place that has hosted kings, vampires, and even dragons.
