Al Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Uloom Muinul Islam, abbreviated as Hathazari Madrasa, is a Qawmi Madrasa located in Hathazari Upazila of Chittagong District, Bangladesh.
It is the largest and oldest Qawmi Madrasa in Bangladesh. It was established in 1901 with the joint efforts of Abdul Wahed Bangali, Habibullah Qureshi, Sufi Azizur Rahman and Abdul Hamid and with the permission of Ashraf Ali Thanvi. It is the first Madrasa established in Bangladesh on the model of Darul Uloom Deoband, which is run according to the ideals and thoughts of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat. Therefore, it is also known as the second Darul Uloom Deoband in Bangladesh. It is the first Daura-e-Hadith Madrasa in Bangladesh and is still the main center of Hadith education in Bangladesh. Since a large number of Madrasas were established in imitation of this Madrasa, this Madrasa is called Ummul Madaris or the Mother of Madrasas. It is affiliated with Befaqul Madarisil Arabia Bangladesh. The monthly Muinul Islam is the mouthpiece of this madrasa.
