Thespio comes over for a visit and gets an eye of what Brawny's family can be like. It's hilarious, yes. But living in it can get a little grating sometimes.

I enjoyed this episode a lot. Although I disagree with the lack of balance put on the lesson, it's a minor subjective complaint compared to how funny it was. And Rainbow Dash's parents did seem to take away at least a little something of their own from the situation at the end. I was especially surprised to see Thespio relating to Rainbow Dash. Although I always thought those two had more in common than he would care to admit.

DaWillstanator:
You know it’s weird. I seem to be one of the few people in this fandom who actually enjoys all the controversial Rainbow Dash episodes. It’s no secret that RD is my least favorite mane 6 as I’ve always despised braggers or egocentric characters (hence why I’ve never liked Trixie either), and yes RD does have her great moments like in Sonic Rainboom, Hurricane Fluttershy, and Tanks for the Memories to name a few, and I do mean A FEW. But a lot of the time she just irritates me when she constantly enters her cocky mode.
When I watched this episode, the first 2 acts were unbearable to watch with how her parents were going completely bonkers, but the twist at the end with Dash’s childhood story and with Scootaloo’s input how she wished she had parents like that legit surprised me.
I like little bits like that to show RD ain’t just a one note character. Maybe I give her a lot more flack than I should, but hey, at least she’s not Trixie.
