If you have a 2015 13" MacBook Pro Retina and the Trackpad and Keyboard stop working But the On/Off Key works, the trackpad cable is the most likely cause due to it rubbing on the back cover.
Note: The cable adhesive can be removed and applied to the new cable very easily.
You will need a Torx T5 Screwdriver for the Trackpad Cable shield.
You will also need a P5 Pentalobe screwdriver to get the back cover off.
