On my day out to didcot railway centre we started of at kingham then to oxford were we changed trains for oxford to didcot. At didcot station you can see the remains of another 2 platforms buried under trees and vegetation and the road bridge has also been filled in this was a line i herd that headed to cheltenham which was closed to passengers in 1962 and freight in 1964 such as a shame as alot of cotswold villages would have benefitted from a rail link that has long since gone.
