Pitch of base plate: 2" Drop.
** Remember, The low point of the first tank must be equal or higher than the high point of the second tank!
Be sure to account for how level your floor is, and any warping in your material.

Feel free to find alternates, specifically the pump! As long as you size the power adapter and speed controller appropriately, using a higher flow pump could be a good thing.
