28 सितंबर को आदरणीया लता दीदी का जन्मदिवस है और इस विशेष दिन अवसर पर रवीन्द्र जैन जी के चाहनेवालों के लिए प्रस्तुत है लता दीदी से जुड़ा यादगार उपहार-
रवीन्द्र जैन जी के शब्दों में, रवीन्द्र जैन जी की कलम से 1972 में उनके द्वारा व्यक्त किये गए भाव जो सुनहरे पलों के रूप में संग्रहीत हैं---

' मैं बम्बई आया था एक सपना लेकर। वो मुम्बई जहां विश्व की सबसे सुरीली आवाज़ बसती है जिसके कंठ में सरस्वती साक्षात बोलती हैं और वह आवाज़ है स्वरसम्राज्ञी लता मंगेशकर की आवाज।

समय के साथ मेरा सपना भी पूरा हुआ, मैं जिस दिन प्रभुकुंज (लता दीदी के निवास) की सीढ़ियों पर चढ़ रहा था उस दिन मुझे लग रहा था कि मैं उन्नति की सीढ़ियों पर चढ़ रहा हूं क्योंकि वहां लता जी रहती हैं।
लता जी को गीत सुनाया जो उन्हें बहुत अच्छा लगा। गीत सुनकर लता जी ने आशिर्वाद दिया। उस गीत की रिकार्डिंग फेमस स्टूडियो ताड़देव में हुई।

रिकॉर्डिंग के बाद लता दीदी ने बैठकर पूरा गीत सुना और खूब सराहना भी की जबकि अक्सर लता जी गाना रिकार्ड करने के बाद चली जाती थीं, सुनने के लिए नहीं रुकती थीं किंतु वह गीत उन्होंने सुना।

वो गीत था -
"जो दर्द दिया तुमने, गीतों में पिरो लेगें।
आँखें भी न छलकेंगी, जी भर के रो लेगें।"
इस गीत की रिकॉर्डिंग के साथ ही अपने संगीत निर्देशन में लता मंगेशकर दीदी को गवाने का रवीन्द्र जैन जी का सपना पूरा हुआ।
तो आईये रवीन्द्र जैन जी द्वारा रचित और संगीतबद्ध वह प्रथम अनमोल गीत जिसे लता दीदी ने गाया है। सुनते हैं वही मधुर और दिल को छूने वाला गीत--

A few words inked by Ravindra Jain ji by his thoughts and experiences, in the form of those golden moments of life~

'I came to Bombay (Mumbai) with a dream. That Mumbai, where the world's most beautiful voice resides, a voice where Ma Saraswati herself makes her home. That voice which I speak of, belongs to none other than the legendary Swarsamragyi Lata Mangeshkar ji.

As time passed, my dream also became a reality, the day I stepped foot on the stairs of Prabhu Kunj (Lata ji's residence), was the day I felt like I was climbing the stairs of success, the stairs that were the result of my hard work. All because I was climbing the stairs to Lata Mangeshkar ji's home.

I sat down with her and sang the song I had written. When she heard my song, she game me her blessings, she seemed to have liked my song and after that, the recording of the song took place in Famous Studio, Tardeo.

On the day of the recording, after the recording itself had taken place, Lata ji, who usually would leave after the recording was over, stayed back and heard the whole song once again, praising how well it had turned out. It was truly an honor, when she decided to stay back and listen to the song herself.'

Geeton Mei Piro Lenge.
Aankhein Bhi Na Chalkengi,
Jee Bhar Ke Ro Lenge'

With this song, Ravindra Jain ji's dream of working with Lata Mangeshkar ji finally became a reality, but due to certain circumstances, the movie the song was recorded for never got released, and the song remained hidden from the public until today!
