Taking Cooking food back to basics.

Ingredients:
For the filling:
1 lb (450g) sausages (pork, beef, or your choice), sliced
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-2 cups (240 - 460ml) beef or chicken stock made from cubes, powder your choice (gravy)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 cup (150g) frozen peas or mixed veg
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil

For the mash topping:
2 lbs (900g) potatoes, peeled and chopped
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup (120ml) milk or cream
1 tablespoon sour cream (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup (60g) grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F).
