In 2016, Shadowhunters came to the small screen as an adaptation of the successful literary saga Shadowhunters (The Mortal Instruments), by author Cassandra Clare.

And after being a total success in sales, the public's expectations were undoubtedly sky-high. A series faithful to the books, that would give life to that incredible universe after the abrupt cancellation of the movies was all that the fandom wanted, but hopes would soon fade...
