Asalamualaikum and hello friends. This video is day 6 of my bikepacking in West Malaysia. The journey start from Back to Nature campsite Mersing to Pekan city.
We woke up early around 4 am because the sound of thunder. Theres's a storm coming. So we pacled our stuff and go to the reception building where we took some time to recharge all our electronics. This is one of the challenge during bikepacking, managing your electronics needs.
After just few kilometers of riding, the rain poured gown on us. We had to stay at a bustop for quite some time before countinuing on. The rain does not stop after about an hour, so we decided to pedal on in the rain. My bikepacking bags are not waterproof, so some stuff had to move places until I could find the Mr.DIY shop.
We were pedalling in the rain for about 2/3 of the journey to Pekan, and we did arrived safely and was treated with dinner by Johnny's friend there. We end up staying The K Kabin, a nice and nostalgic place to stay. People there are also nice and very helpfull.
