8.4.19 | by Adam Balhetchet | EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn - PSA2 units called backup regarding crowd control at a NYCHA complex around 3 am Sunday at 391 Georgia Ave. Police received multiple 911 calls that night regarding a disorderly group in the backyard who was publically drinking and playing music on loudspeakers. After the 3rd time police showed up, they requested backup to disperse the group to prevent it from worsening. As per NYCHA policy, they aren't permitted to gather in the backyard after dark. This following two shooting incidents in the area including a woman who was shot on Pine St. Seven were arrested in a separate incident involving an officer who was injured during a foot pursuit at 666 Schenck Ave.
