This is Thomas, a rock climber, who I challenged to do my online intro to intermediate calisthenics program.
Thomas started the program really strong in pulling and middle splits, with pushing and shoulder mobility being his weaknesses. Here are his 8 week results.Thomas has never been able to hold a handstand, but quickly achieved a consistent freestanding handstand, and even began working on his HSPU. This is in part due to his significantly improved overhead pushing strength along with his increased shoulder mobility. He started with a front lever we all dream of achieving, and ended with a 3 finger front lever with better form and a longer hold time.He went from good high pull-ups, to explosive, waist to bar reps.
This program was his intro to planche training and handstand getting him to the point where we could actually do a flow together for the first time!
