One of my Hampshire walks in the beautiful New Forest National Park and along a part of the Avon Valley River long distance path. This is a beautiful walk , but it's made difficult by poorly signed and maintained paths, and a tendency for the Avon Valley Path to be wet underfoot in all but drought conditions.
on this walk we discover the ancient art of thatching, RAF Ibsley, Reed beds , fish farms, forest wildlife, a Bear Grylls jungle adventure and much more.
Starts and finishes at The Royal Oak, North Gorley. 8 miles approximately.
