A second horn mount for the 1838. This is a project that my friend and business partner Jason and I have been working on for a while. Now I can put my horn collection into active service.
It’s not 100% clear from the video, but the type of three-way valve that I chose does not allow both horns to be operated at the same time. You can select for one or the other, but not both. The decision to do this was based on the fact that there are different size airlines, plus the additional length from the valve to the long hood horn means that there’s going to be a difference in volume, and plus more than one horn at a time never sounds good. It just becomes a wall of noise.
