U.P. CM Yogi Adityanath Clears The Air On Entry Of Muslims Into Maha Kumbh

It could be one of the toughest queries the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has ever faced. But, Yogi Adityanath was unfazed when asked whether Muslims will be allowed to participate in the Maha Kumbh or set up shops in the area during the 45-day mega gathering of Hindu pilgrims. “The Kumbh Mela is not just a religious gathering, it is a profound reflection of the Sanatan tradition with the philosophy of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ – the world as one family. This sacred event dissolves all barriers of caste, creed, and religion, welcoming everyone with open arms”, Yogi said. He, however, issued a warning to those who attempt to undermine or disrespect the essence of this tradition, reminding them that the Kumbh is a space of purity and devotion.
