From Cutting to Raking: Our Efficient Grass Harvesting Routine! | Szpakowo Farm | FS 22 | ep #04

Welcome back to the Szpakowo Farm Timelapse. Our grass field is ready for mowing, so we load the trimmer onto the trailer and drive the walk-behind tractor into the field. After setting up the trimmer, we cut the grass. Realizing we need more efficiency, we decide to convert our second walk-behind tractor by mounting a mower on it. This is necessary because we've purchased another grass field that's larger than the previous one, making it impractical to mow with just the trimmer.
Once the grass is cut, we need to spread it. We equip our mini-tractor with a tedder and head out to spread the grass. Before collecting it, we need to rake it into swaths. After converting the tedder into a windrower, we return to the fields to rake the grass.
Meanwhile, our strawberry beds have accumulated boxes of berries. We load them into the trailer and deliver them to the point of sale. We also bring water to irrigate the beds.
