In this episode we cover some of the largest piston driven aircraft ever built. While we primarily focus on designs with wingspan exceeding 200 feet, there are two exceptions; We discuss the XB-15, as I feel like we cannot go over the XB-19 without covering its smaller cousin. And the Boeing PBB, as it is likely the largest twin engine design ever built (to the extent of my knowledge - correct me if Im wrong.)
Some honourable mentions include the followin;
Boeing 314 Clipper - 152ft wingspan
Dogulas C-74 & C-124 - 173 & 174ft wignspan
In time, I plan on covering non-US built giants as well.
