USFK declares Public Health Emergency to protect forces for COVID-19 outbreak

주한미군, 공중 보건 비상사태 선포

US Forces Korea has declared a public health emergency for all its commands and military installations in South Korea in light of the coronavirus outbreak.
Commander, Robert Abrams said he made the declaration in accordance with the WHO raising its global warning to "very high" and the U.S. State Department imposing a global level 4 travel advisory.
This does not indicate there will be a change to current preventive measures, or an increased risk on USFK installations, rather, it's to ensure American troops remain disciplined and vigilant.
The new measure will be in effect through April 23rd unless it's extended or terminated earlier by Commander Abrams.
