I Found an Ancient Underground City with GIANT…

In the American Southwest, not all ancient people lived in pit houses or cliff dwellings. Some chose something far more hidden — hand-carved cave cities known as cavates, a name later given by the Spanish.
In this episode, we uncover an ancient underground city carved directly into the rock — a vast cave system containing over 300 individual rooms. Room after room disappears into the stone, forming what feels less like a shelter and more like a lost subterranean civilization.
The entrances to these rooms are unusually small — so small that it raises an unsettling question:
Were they hiding from something larger than themselves?

The danger isn’t only ancient. Along the way, we encounter fresh mountain lion tracks and even follow a blood trail from a wounded animal, reminding us that these forgotten places are still very much alive — and still claimed.
